vegetato pattern

hi guys this is my first post here so sorry if i do it wrong . does anyone have any idea on how to paint the vegetato camouflage pattern? this is the pattern itself:
anything helps cause im a noob thanks!

Ideally, get a piece of fabric with the pattern and scan the image into photoshop. From there I would pick out pieces of the pattern to turn into a stencil. Or, if you can find a large image, do the same thing in photoshop.

As for the color layout, you will need to play around with it a bit, but I would lay down something like this:

Black, Brown, Tan/white, Green
